This new EP is supposed to sound as the name suggests, music for cyborgs. Music for the people whose daily lives incorporate technologies directly or indirectly into their lives and who have had their senses, thoughts, feelings changed by the process. People whose daily existence is inhuman but not robotic, revolving around hardened noises, and slowly becoming frustrated and somewhat put off by the constancy and unerring continuation of the sounds of organic creatures. There are no voices, no human noises at all. There are artificial approximations of organa, of "natural"-sounding music, but there are also the sounds of industry inherent to the nature of cyborgs, to make the rejection of the organic possible. Mechanically maximal sounds, rhythms, ideas, melodies, balanced out with vague approximations of music that was, with each piece roughly configured around the golden ratio that the hard-wired pattern recognition features of the human brain find so enticing.

This is music for cyborgs.
